Renegade Series Review
The Renegade series by Marissa Meyer is one of her most notorious work she has ever done.
It is safe to say it deserves to be so.
First, Marissa Meyer has a wonderful take on world building where she manages to teleport the reader to the world she wanders in in her head. Not only that, but she is also one of the best writers if I do say so myself when it comes to world building.
In addition, her ability to create such complex plots with the little details that enable the reader to connect the dots is quite fascinating.
She also has some of the best characters with.. the best development
I personally loved how captain chromium finally realized that everything is not black and white.
I also adored how nova started to grow into her own person without subconsciously getting dictated by her vicious uncle.
It was a happy ending.
Max finally got what he always wanted, the world started gaining independence from the Renegades and finally started to stand their own ground. Not to mention that the so called anarchists in a way had their happy endings.
Most importantly Nova and Adrian both got what they needed although the didn't realize the craved, closure, their families' death finally explained.
Also the way Marissa came up with the superpowers and their limitations was very interesting, it always pushed their boundaries.
I also loved how genissa Clark and her team got what they deserved, they needed to be whipped into shape, and also of course, agent N had to be stopped one way or another, the Renegades were pushing their luck and it was only a matter of time until they finally realized their consequences.
It was such a good read and a roller-coaster of emotions but extremely well written and that is something I appreciate.
. Overall, I 100% do recommend reading it
