Bible Genesis 10

Chapter ten

1And these are the generations of the sons of Noah: Shem, Ham, and Japheth. And children were born to them after the flood. 2The sons of Japheth: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javan, Tubal, Meshech, and Tiras. 3And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, Rephath, and Togarmah. 4And the sons of Javan: Elisha, Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 5From these the islands of the nations were divided into their lands, every man according to his own language, according to their families, in their nations.
6And the sons of Ham: Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan. 7And the sons of Kush: Sheba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabthaca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan. 8And Cush begot Nimrod, who began to be a mighty man in the land, 9who was a mighty man of the game before the Lord. That is why it is said: “Like Nimrod, a mighty man of the hunt before the Lord.” 10The beginning of his kingdom was Babylon, Erech, Akkad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar. 11From that land Assyria went out and built Nineveh, Rehoboth, Er, and Calah. 12And Resan, between Nineveh and Calah, is the great city. 13And Mizraim begat: Lodim, and Ananim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim, 14And Pathrosim, and Casluhim. From whom came Philishtim and Caphtorim. 15And Canaan begot: Zidon his firstborn, and Heth, 16and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite, 17and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite, 18and the Arwadite, and the Semaritan And the mother-in-law. After that, the Canaanite tribes dispersed. 19The Canaanite border was from Sidon, as you go towards Gerar to Gaza, and as you go towards Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lah ray. 20These are the sons of Ham, according to their families, according to their languages, by their lands and by their nations.
21Shem, the father of all the sons of Eber, the elder brother of Japheth, to whom also sons were born. 22The sons of Shem: Elam, Assyria, Arphaxad, Lud, and Aram. 23And the sons of Aram: Uz, Hul, Gather, and Mash. 24And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber. 25And to Eber were born two sons: the name of the one is Peleg, because in his days the land was divided. And his brother's name was Joktan. 26And Joktan begat: Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hadramauth, and Jerah, 27And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah, 28And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba, 29And Ophir, and Haviel And Jobab. All these are the sons of Joktan. 30And their dwelling was from Mesha, as you come toward Sephar, the mount of the east. 31These are the sons of Shem, according to their families, according to their languages, according to their lands, according to their nations.
32These are the tribes of the sons of Noah, according to their generations, in their nations. And from these the nations were dispersed on the earth after the flood.
