Prophet Solomon (peace be upon him) is a figure revered in many traditions, celebrated for his unparalleled wisdom, justice, and devotion to God. Born to Prophet David (peace be upon him), Solomon inherited not only the mantle of prophethood but also the leadership of a vast kingdom. His reign was marked by an extraordinary ability to communicate with animals and command the jinn, blessings bestowed upon him by Allah. These divine gifts allowed Solomon to establish a kingdom unparalleled in its justice, innovation, and splendor. His story, as detailed in the Holy Qur'an, offers timeless lessons on faith, leadership, and the pursuit of truth.

Chapter 1: The Gathering of Solomon's Army

Solomon's court was a marvel of organization and grandeur. Every day, he would assemblehis vast army, comprising humans,jinn, and birds, to assesstheir readiness and ensure that all were accounted for. One such day, as Solomon inspectedhis ranks, he noticed the absence of the hoopoe bird. With a tone that mixed authority and curiosity, he said, "What is the matter that I do not see the hoopoe? Or is he among the absentees?" Determined to maintain discipline, he declared, "I will surely punish him with a severe punishment, or I will slaughter him unless he brings me a clear reason."

The court awaited the return of the hoopoe with bated breath. Soon, the tiny bird flew in, pantingfrom its journey.It bowed beforeSolomon and said,"I have discovered something you have not. I bring you tidings from Sheba, a land of magnificence. There, I found a woman ruling over them. She has been given everything, and she possessesa magnificent throne.

However, I found her and her people prostrating to the sun instead of Allah. Satan has made their deeds pleasing to them and turned them away from the right path."

Chapter2: The Gathering of Solomon's Army

Intrigued by the hoopoe's report, Solomon decided to verify its truth. He instructed the bird to deliver a letter to the Queen of Sheba, inviting her to submit to the worship of Allah. The letter was succinct yet powerful: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.Do not exalt yourselves against me but come to me in submission."

When the letter reached the Queen, she was both astonished and apprehensive. She gathered her advisors and presented the message, seeking their counsel. "O eminent ones," she said, "a noble letter has been delivered to me. Itbegins with the name of Allah and calls us to submit. What do you advise?"

Her advisors, confident in their kingdom's strength, replied, "We are a people of might and great prowess in battle. The decision, however, rests with you." The Queen, known for her wisdom, decided to test Solomon's intentions by sending him precious gifts, hoping to discern whether he was a prophet or a mere king seeking worldly gain.

Chapter 3: The Display of Solomon's Power

When the envoys arrivedwith the gifts, Solomon, recognizing their purpose, rejectedthem. He declared, "Doyou offer me wealth? What Allah has given me is farbetter than what He has given you. Return to them, for we will come to them with forces they cannot withstand." Determined to demonstrate the might of his kingdom and the truth of his prophethood, Solomon turned to his court. "Who among you can bring me the Queen's throne before they come tome in submission?" A powerful jinn, known for his strength, responded, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place." Another, who had knowledge of the Book, said, "I will bring it to you in the blink of an eye." Instantly, the throne of the Queen appeared before Solomon, leaving him awestruck. He bowed in gratitude, saying, "This is from the favor of my Lord, to test me whether I will be grateful or ungrateful."

Chapter 4: The Meeting of Solomon and the Queen

When the Queen of Sheba arrived, she was led into Solomon's court. As she approached her throne, which had been slightly altered, she was asked, "Is this your throne?" She replied, "Itis as though it were." The realization of Solomon's power and the truth of his prophethood began to dawn upon her.

To further emphasize the message of monotheism, Solomon invited her to enter his palace. The floor, made of crystal-clear glass, appeared to be a pool of water. Mistaking it for water, the Queen lifted her dress to avoid getting wet. Solomon gently corrected her, saying, "It is a palace paved with crystal." At that moment, she declared, "My Lord, I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, Lord of the worlds."
