The most famous slapping in the world:
This is a true story that happened in rural Germany in the sixteenth century. There was a child named Gauss. Gauss was a very bright student, some called him a genius. Always right, but he deprived other colleagues of the opportunity to think about the teacher's questions, and one day the teacher chose a very difficult question to challenge Gauss, but he answered it quickly without thinking, and the teacher's anger grew bigger.
To punish Gauss for his selfish behavior, the teacher gave him a complex arithmetic problem, asking him to find the sum of numbers between 0 and 100. The teacher originally wanted to distract Gauss, keep him busy, let the other students answer and learn the lesson, but after only five minutes, he said Hamas Gauss: 5050, so the teacher slapped him and said: Are you kidding me? What do you say, what about your calculations? Gauss put it simply: I found a relationship between 0 and 100 which sums to 100, 99, 1 which sums to 100 and 98 and 2 which sums to 100 and so on until I get 51 to 49 and after that I find I have 50 villains . The number is a group, each group is 100, and only 50 are left, so the sum is (50 x 100) + 50 = 5050.
So I created a labor law to calculate this problem, which is n(n+1)/2. The teacher marveled at the child's genius, unaware that at that moment he was beating a great scientist: Carl Friedrich Gauss, one of the three most famous mathematicians in history.
