The Blazeheart Family's Topsy-Turvy Tuesday

Tuesday morning in the Blazeheart cave started like any other day – with complete and utter chaos
"FIRE ALARM! FIRE ALARM!" shrieked Papa Dragon, bursting out of the bedroom with his tail smoking. "Oh wait... that's just my morning breath."
Mama Dragon rolled her enormous golden eyes. "Barnaby Blazeheart, you say that every single morning!"
Their three little dragonlings came tumbling down the cave stairs like colorful bowling balls. Spark, the youngest, hiccupped tiny purple flames. Flame, the middle child, was practicing his roar, which sounded more like a kitten with a sore throat. And Blaze, the eldest, was trying to fly but kept bonking her head on the cave ceiling.
"I'll never be a proper dragon!" wailed Blaze, rubbing her sore head. "I can't even fly in our own cave!"
"Nonsense!" declared Papa Dragon, accidentally setting the morning newspaper on fire. "Every dragon learns at their own pace!"
But Mama Dragon looked worried. Today was the Annual Dragon Olympics, and all the young dragons in the kingdom would be competing. Blaze had been practicing for months, but she was still the only dragon her age who couldn't fly properly.
"What if everyone laughs at me?" sniffled Blaze.
"Then we'll laugh right back!" announced Spark, shooting a rainbow of hiccup-flames. "But louder!"
The family flew to the Olympics together – well, Papa and Mama flew while carrying the three youngsters. The arena was packed with dragons of every size, color, and flame-type imaginable.
The first event was the Flying Race. Blaze lined up nervously with the other young dragons, her knees knocking together like castanets.
"Ready... set... FLY!"
All the dragons soared into the sky like magnificent rockets. All except Blaze, who flapped desperately but only managed to hover three feet off the ground.
"I can't do it!" she cried.
But then something terrible happened. Little Puff, the smallest dragon in the race, got caught in a wind current and started spinning out of control, heading straight for the sharp rocks below!
Without thinking, Blaze forgot all about flying "properly." She used her low, steady hovering to dart between the rocks where the bigger dragons couldn't fit. She caught Puff just in time, using her "clumsy" flying to navigate the narrow spaces perfectly.
The crowd erupted in cheers! "BLAZE! BLAZE! BLAZE!"
"You saved me!" squeaked Puff gratefully.
The Dragon King himself flew down. "Young Blaze," he declared, "you've shown us that being different isn't a weakness – it's a superpower! You've won the most important prize of all: the Golden Heart Award for Courage and Kindness!"
Papa Dragon wiped away a proud tear (which immediately turned to steam). "That's my girl!"
From that day on, Blaze became the kingdom's official Rescue Dragon, helping others with her unique low-flying skills.
"Sometimes," Mama Dragon told her that night, "the things that make you different are exactly what the world needs most!"
